The Scunthorpe Camera ClubMeetings
in March 2007.
March 7th.
This meeting will be a landmark event in the history of the Scunthorpe Camera Club. For the first time the club will hold a competition in which none of the entries will be photographic prints or slides - all the entries will be digital images submitted on disks. Members were given a theme - ‘Close-Up’ – to be interpreted in whatever way they pleased so we expect to see some really creative images.
March 14th.
Dan Ayris will be the visiting speaker at the next meeting of the Scunthorpe Camera Club. This is Dan’s first visit and his subject will be ‘Astronomical Photography’ – a dramatic paradigm shift from the ‘Close-Up’ theme of last week’s meeting.
March 21st.The Scunthorpe Camera Club meeting this week will be devoted to evaluating the entries in the third competition of the season. Members will also be introduced to the club’s new website at ‘scunthorpecameraclub.co.uk’ - a site that welcomes anyone with an interest in photography.
March 28th.
The next meeting of the Scunthorpe Camera Club will welcome back Dave Stewart as the visiting speaker. Dave’s theme will be ‘Prints that Pleased Me’. Assemble at 7-15pm for a 7-30pm start at the Scunthorpe Central Community Centre.
