November 7.

At this meeting five club members will each present a ‘lecturette’. We don’t know the subjects but they will be related to photography in some way. This type of programme provides ‘a change of face and a change of pace’ so the interest is maintained.

November 14.

A long-standing member of the club, Richard Senior, is highly skilled at producing monochrome prints. Richard also regularly visits Australia where he and his wife hire a campervan and tour some areas off the tourist tracks. Tonight Richard will give a presentation entitled ‘Black and White Down Under’

November 21 and 28.

The Annual Competition is the highlight of the club’s competition season. In the past the judging and the presentation of trophies took place on the same evening but this put pressure on the judges to finish in time for the awards to take place,

The committee felt that this haste devalued an important event so now the event has been allocated two meetings; November 21 will be devoted to judging some of the categories; November 28 will see the balance of the judging and the presentation of the silver trophies.
