January 6^th

John Smith presents. John Smith of the Ashby Photographic Society makes a welcome return to the club. Tonight He will  to present an illustrated talk on England’s Inland Waterways. John is well known to club members both as an accomplished speaker & competition Judge.

Remember entries for Competition No 2 need to be submitted tonight!

January 13^th.

RPS International Projected Image Exhibition.  Former Club member Barbara  Hill showed the club the image that won the top award last September.  This evening the club will see the rest of the exhibiition. so we can look forward to a feast of quality images.

January 20^th  

Magical Monochrome There will a warm welcome for  visiting speaker Derek Doar who returns to the club this evening. Derek  has been involved in photography for some 35 years, printing both Black & White and Colour. Tonight he  will be demonstrating his techniques for converting colour images to monochrome digitally  without acquiring strange colour casts.  Guaranteed to be both entertaining and informative!

Competition No 2  This meeting will see the entries in Competition number 2 being assessed and graded.
