NEMPF 2010 exhibition slides At the weekly meeting tonight, club members will have the opportunity to view the 2010 NEMPF portfolio. Photographers from clubs all over the North and East Midlands submit prints and projected images for this intensively competitive exhibition. Scunthorpe Camera Club members did extremely well this year
February 10th
Digital Workshop with Rod Gunn. Scunthorpe Camera Club will welcomes back visiting speaker Rod Gunn this evening. Rod will take club members through various techniques of the Photoshop image-editing suite, and offer advice on some of its vast potential. There is always something new to learn.
February 17th
LPA Travelling Portfolio. Tonight members of the Scunthorpe Camera Club will view the Portfolio assembled annually by the Lincolnshire Photographic Association. The LPA members are twenty-nine photographic clubs and societies in the old county of Lincolnshire. Every year the LPA invites the clubs to submit specimens of work produced by their own members. A selection committee evaluates the entries and chooses the best images to make up the portfolio that is circulated round all the clubs that have entered. assessed and graded.
February 24th
Studio Night .. Sunthorpe Camera Club members will enjoy an evening of practical work at this meeting. Members are advised to bring their cameras, flashguns, tripods, and any accessories they have. Past Club President Roy Featherstone has offered to make this slightly different to our previous studio nights which involved photographing charnming young ladies. Tonight we will be trying something rather mare challenging which will involved some rather different techniques… . Experienced members will be on hand to advise
