Annual Competition (we will preview them on 30/11/16) This is judged in 5 different sections in colour, mono and digital.

There is also a Digital Creative section in addition to the other 5 sections You may enter a total of 10 colour,10 mono and 10 digital. Maria needs all of your entries for this competition by 26/10/16 this may seem a long time in advance but I have to sort them and list them appropriately, see the judge has them, and then when he gives the results Maria have to arrange for the cups etc to be engraved and produce certificates. I will require all of the awards to be handed in (cleaned please) by Wednesday 2nd November.
Exhibition at the Scunthorpe Museum
Monday 14th November until Xmas. We would like every member of the club to show at least 1 photograph, of their own choice. If we have the full area as last year we should be able to display 2 of everyones. (mark your favourite with first choice just in case we cant use 2) Please let Maria have these photos by November 2nd to allow time to place titles on them and list them all. Any photos larger than 50x40 will not be able to be used as they will not fit our frames. We also hope to have an exhibition at the Baths early next year.
LPA COMPETITIONS
SUNDAY November 6th
Interclub Digital Competition
Each club can enter 10 digital images, selected by our selection committee. We will look at all those images which have scored 18 or above this year in our competitions, but Maria would ask you to look at what you have and submit as many images as you like on a memory stick or by email, subject of your own choice (including digitally manipulated) by September 28th for the committee to select 10 images, one of which is held back for a tie break should it come to that.
POTY November 27th. (Photographer of the Year)
This is an individual competition for any member of the group to enter. There is no selection committee, just prepare your photos and let Maria have them. (Maria will help you if you are not sure how to go on)
For this competition you are required to produce a panel of three photos, with a connecting theme, choice of subject is entirely yours, can be mono or colour, not mixed. Maria require these by October 26th.
