CAMERA CLUB WINS NLC LEISURE AWARD.

   In March 2008 the work of the charity-support team of the Scunthorpe Camera Club was recognised by the North Lincolnshire Council when they presented the team with the “Small Organisation of the Year” trophy.

The awards celebrate outstanding achievements that people and groups have made over past year in sports. community, arts and heritage.

The presentation was made by Karen Sherwood, founder and Managing Director of Cupola Contemporary Art Ltd

 Pamela McIntosh, George Lord and John West [deputising for Duncan Hill] were presented with a cut-glass rose bowl, a standing trophy and a celebration certificate in front of an audience of 200 people representing a wide range of sporting and leisure activities.
