// No sooner is the Annual out of the way, than the next years round of bi monthly competitions get under way. The first round took place on 4 December, with the club welcoming back David Neve to judge. This was a tough competition, but David managed to get through over 50 images making comments which were both detailed and helpful.. The final winners were....

// The second of this years bi monthly competitions took place on 29 January, and was judged by Allan Rowsell . As always we were treated to some really superb images. Allan commented on the impressive wide variety of the 65 images that had been submitted. // The fourth bi monthly competition got under way on 23 July, The club welcomed new judge Peter Cheetham PAGB, Peter gave a critique on almost 60 entries, and awarded marks out of 20 which will be added to this season's accumulated total. // The last bi monthly competition before the Annual, got under way on 1 October. The club invited judge John Whaler from RB Camera Club, who marked over 40 images to determine the final winners John combined a shrewd eye for a good image and insightful critiquing with a most relaxed and entertaining manner that made for a most enjoyable evening. Annual Competition 2014

// On 19th November the club began the highlight of the club's competition season The Annual Competition. This first evening was devoted to viewing the entries. The following week the club saw the the judging of the entries by Peter Yeo. The presentation of the silver trophies took place on 17 December. The trophies are awarded for the winning entries in both the Annual competition, and for the points accumulated in the bi monthly competitions. It was judged by Peter Yeo, who revealed his choices accompanied by valuable, erudite comments. Thank you to everyone who entered images, providing two evenings of great photography.
