Talk by Eamon McCabe at Hull University

Viewfinder Photographic Society are hosting an evening with the  multi-award-winning photographer, Eamon McCabe on Thursday 20th October at 7.30pm, Allam Lecture Theatre, Business School, The University of Hull.  

Eamon will be talking about the images that have defined his life and work, spanning nearly four decades. He joined The Observer in 1976 and won Sports Photographer of the Year a record four times, covering three Olympics. Eamon became Picture Editor for The Guardian in 1988, winning Picture Editor of the year a record six times.

In 2001, he returned to freelancing, photographing mainly people in the arts for The Guardian and also other newspapers and magazines.

On the door (subject to availability) from 7.00pm, 20th October 2016 at the Derwent Building main entrance, The University of Hull, Cottingham Road.

Tickets are £10, or £5 for students/under-16s.
