Well Done to Past President Dave Boothby recenlty  submitted a nunber of entries for the inclusion in the Nottingham and East Midlands Photographic Federation 2014 Exhibition He was delighted to have 8 of  them accepted, with one of them being highly commended.

 This was 'Chaffinch with Nest Material' was entered into  Natural History Prints . Dave took this shot locally at Far Ings using a canon 500ml with tripod.

Corelli's Mandolin by Dave Boothby

'Correllis Mandolin' was accepted in PDI Mono. This was a themed Still Life with Dave had built and taken at home.

Kit included Zeiss 28mm lens, tripod and flash.

'Yakovlec Nine' by Dave was taken at Duxord Air Museum. Accepted in PDI Colour.

Accepted in PDI Natural History, 'Red Squirrel' was teken by Dave at in the Yorkshire Dales .

Kit included a Canon 70-200mm

 'Shot at Dawn aged 17' was a composite image accepted into PDI Colour.

Dave designed this striking image around the shot at dawn memorial, and the hring post and statue of Private Herbert Gurden aged 17.

Grey Heron with Roach

 'Grey Heron with Roach' was accepted into PDI Natural History.

This image was taken at Far Ings, using a 500mm Canon lens and beanbag.

 'T2 Hangar, Duxford' , was taken with a fisheye zoom Canon and tripod.

It was accepted in PDI Colour.
