The last meeting of 2011 saw the  welcome return of  Ray Brammal,  a former member and successful local businessman . Ray is renowned for his skills as a photographer and competition judge.

Ray thrilled the club members with beautiful photographs of a wide range of subjects varying in colour to monochrome. It  was interesting to discover what motivates him to get behind the lens.

An Ecuadorian naturalist and wildlife photographer, Santiago has worked in the islands for over a decade. His photography of the Galapagos has been published and exhibited internationally.

What makes these islands truly unique is that they have remained isolated from predators for most of their history. The result is a unique and diverse range of animals that are totally unafraid of humans....
