Competition No 1

// The club began the first round of this seasons bi monthly competitions on 3 February. This is currently exclusively in digital format using the zoom platform. Dianne Seddon ARPS CPAGB BPE made a welcome return to the club to judge and gave a critique on over 90 images, and awarded marks out of 20 which will be added to this season's accumulated total. Dianne was sent the entries in advance, so that she could view the images on a calibrated monitor. Thanks to everybody who entered and made this an entertaining evening. Digital Theme - Close to Home

// On March 10 the club held it's themed digital competition, The theme was 'Close to Home' and members could submit a maximum of 4 colour plus 4 monochrome images The club welcomed back judge Brian Grommett of Cleethorpes Camera Club who gave a critique on over 40 entries using the zoom platform. Brian was sent the entries in advance, so that he could view them on a calibrated monitor. Marks were awarded out of 20 and will be added to this season's accumulated total. Competition No 2

// On 14 April the club welcomed back Mike Bennett from Cleethorpes Camera Club to judge the second of this years bi monthly competitions. This is currently exclusively in digital format using the zoom platform. Mike was sent the entries in advance, so that he could view the images on a calibrated monitor. Judging over 70 images, Mike commented on a wide variety of entries across the spectrum from portrait through to natural history. Annual Competition 2021

// On 1 December the club held the highlight of its competition season:- The Annual Competition. This year it was judged by Peter Yeo. Covid has meant that the club had to make a number of adjustments to how the competition was managed this year. No prints were accepted, but instead there was an increase in the number of digital entries that could be made. This was a tough competition, but the judge managed to get through over 100 images making comments on every entry which were both detailed and helpful.. Peter announced the winning entries accompanied by how he arrived at his choices.
